    Originally developed for the Israeli Defense Forces by Imi Lichtenfield in the 1940’s, Krav Maga is a system of self-defense characterized by simple, instinctive responses to common threats. Krav Maga is a self-defense program focused on realistic scenarios in which you learn to stay aware while counterattacking in a fast and efficient manner.

    Krav Maga is not about feats of strength, and its techniques can be learned by anyone regardless of age, gender, size, strength or ability. Practitioners reach a high level of proficiency in a relatively short period of time. On an individual level, both adult and child Krav Maga practitioners improve their overall fitness and coordination, increase their confidence and encourages grit and determination.

    Self Defense Classes Today

    Krav Maga based self-defense classes differ from Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or other forms of rule-based competition because it is designed to train practitioners for real world attacks, where rules do not apply and the focus is survival or safety.
