Westchester County and Orange County based Krav Maga New York (KMNY) offers authentic Black Belt Level Krav Maga self-defense training and classes to adults, kids, and Law Enforcement. In our centers we train fast paced, serious, real life self defense, yet by contrast our training environment is safe, courteous, professional, and one of the friendliest you will ever encounter.
Unlike Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, Wrestling, BJJ, or other forms of rule-based competition, Krav Maga is designed for real world attacks where rules simply do not apply. Recognized as one of the most effective methods for self-defense, it teaches practitioners how best to neutralize attacks and escape unharmed. Krav Maga is characterized by practical, easy to learn defenses against real attacks, and the total body workout is like no other.
Since 2004, KMNY has been featured on the Journal News, the North County News, the Record Review, LoHud.com, the Blotter, Hudson Valley Magazine, Healthy Frontiers, and News 12 Westchester. We have presented at public libraries, temples, high schools, boys and girls clubs, Law Enforcement conferences, charity events, colleges, and for leadership and other groups. Aside from level appropriate, authentic Krav Maga training everyday of the week, KMNY also offers custom private or semi private training. For kids, training includes Verbal Self-Defense, Anti-Bullying, Stranger Danger and age appropriate Krav Maga. For adults, we offer Verbal Self-Defense, Sparring, BJJ, Fighting and Combative Strikes, Basic Defensive Options, Advanced Defensive Options, Defending Against Attacks that Transition To The Ground, Ground Fighting, Defending vs. Blunt Objects (Stick), Defending vs. Edge Weapon (Knife), Defending vs. Armed Attacker (Gun), Defending Multiple Attackers, Fighting Off a Sexual Assault, Live Firearm Training, 3rd Party Protection, NRA Certification Courses, CPR Courses, Consulting on Concealed Carry Weapon and Weapon Retention
