Krav Maga New York Offers Community Based Israeli Self Defense Classes in Somers

Earlier this year, Somers based Krav Maga New York (KMNY) reaffirmed its commitment to keep our community fit and safe. Acting as Company spokesperson, Erin O’Neill, KMNY’s Program Director, stated, “We intend to provide more Israeli self defense classes, seminars, mass introductory lessons, and a variety of other community oriented training opportunities.  You can expect a lot from us in the coming months.”KMNY’s decision to offer more training opportunities was necessary given a recent string of unprecedented requests for classes, seminars and training featuring the world renowned Israeli self-defense system known as Krav Maga.As Erin O’Neill explained, “In past years we’ve provided Krav Maga training for the Governor’s security detail, the NY & NJ Waterfront Police Department, the Westchester County Police Academy, and received formal invitations to New York Tactical Officers Association expo.  We’ve also run seminars for a women’s groups, moved our facility and revised our class schedule to better accommodate our student base.”Krav Maga, renowned worldwide for its realistic approach, was originally created for the Israeli Defense Force (IDF).
