Within 16 - 18 classes we encourage students to take their advanced white belt test.

What if I don't feel strong enough or fit enough to start?

Krav Maga is not based on age, gender, strength or size. It’s principle based, not technique based. Many new students share that concern. Then quickly realize after a few classes just how empowering Krav Maga is regardless of strength or size.

I don't consider myself "sporty" or coordinated. Will that be a problem?

Not at all! Many students starting in our adult martial arts classes would describe themselves like that before they started. You'll fit right in! Be patient. Give yourself some leeway. And you will be astounded at you improvement! In our beginner classes, our instructors keep things simple. So even the most "uncoordinated" person will develop ‘ninja-like’ skills! Come see for yourself!

Will my child become a bully?

The opposite! Our students develop increased confidence to stand up to bullies and step in for their peers when needed. Your child will have increased humility and kindness because they'll understand the consequences of violence.

Are parents allowed to watch?

We encourage parents to watch their children and observe what techniques and skills they're learning. Even better… join some of our classes for adults. Your kids will love that you have something in common. If you want some ‘me-time’? Simply drop them off, and go grab a coffee. They'll greet you with a huge smile when you return.

What do I need to bring?

Make sure you wear comfortable and athletic clothing. Be sure to bring a water bottle too!

What program do you recommend?

The majority of our adults particpate in a mix of self-defense and fitness classes.
